Mt Eden Villa

Most builders would have run a mile when they found out what was entailed in the recent villa rebuild we completed in Mt Eden.

A stunning project designed by Morrison Architects, the job included the installation of a ground floor under the house.

Mt Eden is a suburb notorious for its very rocky ground. It means breaking the rock, digging it out and removing it before any of the construction can begin.

For most building companies, this would have meant big spending for the client needing to hire specialist groundworks machinery.

However, as we have our own specialist machinery at Helicon, we were able to complete the job exactly as the customer wanted while keeping the project's cost down.
