Northern Block Makarau

The project involved building a heavy-duty garage designed to support vehicle lifts and significant structural loads. The scope included aligning the new structure precisely with the existing house, matching the roof geometry, and installing a reinforced concrete slab engineered for heavy machinery, while carefully considering the natural environment and the wide range of animals.

Challenges included the increased height of the structure, tight integration tolerances, and uneven site conditions for driveway access. The solution was a reinforced slab with embedded anchor points and precisely built timber framing and roof trusses to ensure seamless integration with the existing angles of the house layout. Every detail was planned with the site’s characteristics and project requirements in mind, delivering a strong, functional, and well-integrated result.
